I am excited to announce another San Francisco show!
WritersCorps is a 15-yr-strong project which places professional writers in communities throughout SF to teach and promote creative writing to youth. Their most recent project was creating City of Stairways: A Poet's Field Guide to the City of San Francisco written exclusively by the students in the writing program. This party is the last of a string of release parties, and the one I will participating in!
San Franciscans know that Japantown is an epicenter for festivals celebrating culture, fashion, art and creativity. The J-POP Summit is one such festival highlighting the new and bold... So, of course I jumped on board when they asked me to perform at the Peace Plaza on September 18TH!
Come and celebrate with my city as I perform a public set in SF for the first time in 2010! Shall be grand...
FPAC is SoCal's largest and longest running Fil-Am Festival. Because of school and work, I've previously been unable to make it out to perform, but, this year, I'm bringing my trusty DJ Snayk Eyez down with me for my first SoCal show since Paid Dues. =)
