Invention Helps Paralyzed Graff Writer Draw Again

Amazing.

From: Here.

More after the jump.

Stuck in the hospital, suffering from Lou Gehrig’s Disease, L.A. graffiti veteran Tempt One was left completely paralyzed, despite his active brain. After being unable to pick up a pen for seven years, he got a second chance at being creative through a new technology called The EyeWriter. Once an extremely expensive technology kept under lock and key by insurance companies, The EyeWriter was created by the Not Impossible Foundation using sunglasses, a simple webcam, and materials that cost around $50. The project is currently competing for a $250,000 grant from Pepsi’s Refresh Project, an initiative that gives funding to innovative ideas. The grant will allow them to finalize the free software and distribute 1,000 EyeWriters across the country, but they need your votes to make it happen! Stop what you’re doing and click here so you can help this amazing project.
