The Come Up: Hopie Spitshard

Transplanted from Manila, Philippines underground San Francisco rapper Hopie Spitshard does just that, spits HARD. If you’re a fan of California’s Bay Area music, Hopie doesn’t disappoint; if you’re a fan of old-school underground legend Del the Funky Homosapien, Hopie’s got you; and if you’re a fan of the new West coast movement (U-N-I, Diz Gibran, Dom Kennedy, A.Spit, etc.) then Hopie rocks your fucking eardrums.

Here are my nails for my Spring Break Hawaii + LA hiatus...

I've had Hawaii nails before, and those were more muted since we were spending a relaxing vacation in Kona and Hilo. But, since this trip is to Honolulu for my show with Rocky Rivera, plus a quick trip to LA for more musick-y stuff, I decided to go for something more festive, but still with that sunny, tropical feel.

Plus, I've included a flick of Michi's nails. Her's are cute, too.

We just had the photoshoot for the Hopie Spitshard for Adapt Advancers...

AND it's so FIRE.

So, it's been a couple weeks since I debuted my first music video, YUMMY. I've gotten so much love for this huge risk by putting out such an, um, d i f f e r e n t music video... I am floored by the love, and can't wait to see where else Yummy goes.

Here's just some of where Yummy has been already:
